ACTIVITIES 2019

International music by young international musicians

In June, we organize a wonderful evening with sketches and international music for everyone to enjoy. The musicians from the International Music Academy in The Hague are a guarantee for high quality and diversity. Enjoying this evening, you also support the AYA foundation.

Winetasting party for Malaika kids in Tanzania

On Saturday October 5, the outstanding quality of the presented wines is a guarantee for the perfect party. With this project we support Malaika Kids, a foundation that rescues orphans from the streets of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. They find a home at Malaika Kids, get educated and supported throughout their lives. One of our acquaintances travels several times a year to Tanzania, to see how they are all doing and what is needed.

Sailing on the Eendracht to support young people with cancer

On Sunday in June 2020 (date to be known later) you have the great opportunity to sail in a spectacular way with De Eendracht, a tall ship. You will enjoy a day at sea with a delicious lunch, snacks and drinks. You raise the sails together with your friends; the ship crew will supervise. Departure and arrival are at Scheveningen. You will leave at 09.00 and return around 16.00 hrs. By sailing with us you sponsor young people from 18 - 35 years, who saw their lives turned upside down by cancer. De Eendracht organizes special sailing trips for them, in corporation with Foundation 'Vaarkracht' and the AYA Foundation.

Meeting other international Lionsclubs

Our annual meeting with the other international Lionsclubs of Maastricht, Frankfurt and Amsterdam is always one of friendship. We learn from eachothers activities and experience.
